Role Description
This is a contract-based hybrid role for a Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Kubernetes, EKS, AWS, and related technologies. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructures, ensuring their scalability, reliability, and security. The engineer will be responsible for automating deployment pipelines, maintaining CI/CD systems, and working closely with development teams to streamline application delivery. Based in Hyderabad, this role allows a combination of onsite and remote work, providing flexibility while ensuring effective collaboration. Candidates must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the field.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to manage and automate infrastructure provisioning, including Terraform or Ansible.
- Strong background in Software Development and Continuous Integration processes with experience in tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
- Comprehensive System Administration expertise, particularly in maintaining, monitoring, and optimizing server performance in complex environments.
- Solid experience with Linux operating systems, including troubleshooting, shell scripting, and managing deployments in production.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a hybrid work environment, including both in-office collaboration and remote contributions.
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes and EKS, alongside hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps methodologies are advantageous.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
