About The Job
Position Title: Sr Devops / AWS Engineer
Department/Function: Product & Engineering
Job Scope: India
Location: Noida Sec 129, India
Work Setting: WFO (5 days a week)
Purpose of the Job
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps / AWS Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. You’ll own our cloud infrastructure end-to-end, build scalable systems from scratch, and play a key role in shaping our engineering foundation. This is not a “maintenance-only” role, you’ll build, automate, and scale everything.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, EKS, IAM, SCP, Guarduty)
- Ensuring AWS cloud governance using Control Tower, Landing Zone & Organisations
- Build, scale and embed security in CI/CD pipelines for rapid and reliable releases
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
- Drive containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) as per industry best
- practices.
- Set up monitoring, alerting, and logging (Grafana Stack, Prometheus, CloudWatch, ELK, Datadog)
- Ensure smooth operation, performance, and reliability of databases (MongoDB, Aerospike,
- Redis, Postgres, Snowflake)
- Manage and optimize data/ETL pipelines and workflows (Airflow, Spark), ensuring
- scalability and data integrity
- Work closely with developers to improve deployment velocity and reliability
- Ensure security, cost optimization, and high availability
- Troubleshoot production issues and lead incident response
Qualifications Requirement: Experience, Skills & Education
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in DevOps / AWS / Cloud Engineering
- Strong experience with AWS (core + production workloads)
- Proven expertise in CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions/ ArgoCD)
- Solid experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools
- Experience with Docker + Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
- Strong scripting skills (Python / Bash)
- Good understanding of Linux, networking, and system design
- Hands-on experience with data platforms & ETL ecosystems (Airflow, Spark) and
- distributed databases/caching systems (MongoDB, Redis, Aerospike, Snowflake, Postgres
Startup Mindset (Important)
- You take ownership, not just follow instructions
- Comfortable working with ambiguity and evolving requirements
- Bias toward automation and speed
- Ability to design systems from scratch, not just maintain them
- Strong problem-solving and “figure-it-out” attitude
Nice to Have
- Experience in early-stage startups / building from 0→1
- AWS Certifications
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Experience with security and cost optimization at scale
