We are looking for a Full-Stack Engineer who excels at tackling complex problems and shipping high-impact features. This position is designed to create real-world impact through functional, production-ready software. You will leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems that address meaningful challenges—not simply complete task lists. You will be expected to deliver quickly while maintaining quality, selecting the simplest viable solution that ensures both immediate progress and long-term sustainability.

What You Will Be Doing
- Design and Deploy Full-Stack Features: Drive user stories from concept to delivery; refine requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct thorough testing, and release to production
- Identify and Resolve Bugs: Conduct root cause analysis to diagnose issues, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and implement intelligent testing to prevent regressions
- Elevate Code Standards: Assess design documents and pull requests to enforce clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems for their own sake
- Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
- Spending time in prolonged meetings about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with unresponsive stakeholders
- Merely delivering features; you will be accountable for solving genuine user problems
Senior Developer Key Responsibilities
- Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, ships rapidly, and remains maintainable over time
Basic Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience writing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
- Proven ownership: Documented experience owning entire modules, product features, or teams—not merely contributing isolated tasks
- Self-directed execution: The capability to remove your own blockers, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward in uncertain environments
- Practical experience incorporating generative A.I. into your daily development workflow

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
