- Athena: Applies AI-generated videos and assessments to produce quantifiable learning results.
This position is designed to create tangible results through functional software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native platforms to construct full-stack solutions that address real challenges—not simply complete task lists. We expect you to move quickly while maintaining quality, selecting the most straightforward viable approach that honors both immediate delivery and future sustainability.

What You Will Be Doing
- Ship Complete Full-Stack Features: Own user stories from concept through deployment; clarify what's needed, architect scalable systems, implement both backend and frontend logic, validate thoroughly, and release to production
- Track Down and Resolve Bugs: Diagnose issues using root cause analysis, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent recurrence with intelligent testing strategies
- Elevate Code Quality Standards: Assess plans and pull requests to promote clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source
What You Won’t Be Doing
- Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems purely for complexity's sake
- Executing specifications without grasping the underlying problem
- Spending time in continuous meetings about roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders
- Only delivering features; your responsibility is to solve genuine problems
Senior Developer Key Responsibilities
- Leveraging AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, ships rapidly, and remains maintainable over time
Basic Requirements
- A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
- Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product features, or teams—not just executing isolated tasks
- Self-sufficient execution: Capability to remove your own blockers, manage your own velocity, and navigate forward through unclear situations
- Hands-on experience incorporating generative A.I. into your everyday development workflow

Working with us
This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $50 USD/hour, which equates to $100,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
