Job description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable functional development in IBM ACE
• Implement robust integrations with IBM MQ, Kafka, and REST APIs.
• Collaborate with cloud architects to deploy and manage services on Azure and OpenShift.
• Optimize application performance and ensure high availability.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and system integration testing.
• Work closely with QA and DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and release cycles.
• Monitor application health using Grafana and proactively address performance issues.
• Handle incidents and service requests via ServiceNow, ensuring timely resolution.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and support procedures.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing architecture.
About the Application:
The application is built on a microservices architecture using Java Spring Boot and IBM ACE, with integrations to IBM MQ, Kafka, and REST APIs. It is hosted on Azure Cloud and deployed on Red Hat OpenShift 4.16, with monitoring via Grafana and incident management through ServiceNow. "
