Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Developer with at least
7+ years of expertise in designing, developing and optimizing
data ingestion frameworks, batch processes, data pipelines and scheduling workflows. The ideal candidate will be proficient in
Informatica PowerCenter,
IDMC,
SQL Server and
Oracle, with additional exposure to modern cloud and orchestration platforms such as
Snowflake,
AWS, and
Airflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain robust data ingestion processes, batch jobs and end‑to‑end data pipelines.
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica IDMC.
- Implement and troubleshoot workflow scheduling, dependencies and automation using enterprise schedulers.
- Develop efficient SQL queries, stored procedures and data transformations across SQL Server and Oracle databases.
- Ensure high-quality data delivery through validation, reconciliation and performance tuning of ETL jobs / stored procedures.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Support production deployments, incident resolution, pipeline monitoring and root‑cause analysis.
- Contribute to code reviews, documentation and best practices for data engineering.
- Participate in migration initiatives involving modern data platforms and cloud-based solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering or ETL development with:
- Informatica PowerCenter
- Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC)
- SQL Server and Oracle (advanced SQL skills required)
- Proven experience in developing and supporting batch processes and data pipeline orchestration.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, relational database concepts and performance tuning.
- Experience working with scheduling tools and orchestrators.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex data and workflow issues in production environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice To Have)
- Exposure to Snowflake (cloud data warehousing).
- Experience with AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, or Redshift.
- Familiarity with Apache Airflow or other modern workflow orchestration tools.
- Experience with cloud data migration or modernization projects.
- Knowledge of CI/CD practices for data pipelines.
- Understanding of data governance, cataloging, and metadata management concepts.
