Role Description
We are seeking a Senior Developer for a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram.
You would work on the following :
• Design and develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Python and FastAPI
• Build and maintain data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and analysing large volumes of ad, affiliate, and domain data using Pandas, NumPy, and related libraries
• Develop and enhance web-based dashboards and interfaces for clients and internal teams
• Write clean, well-tested, and well-documented code with a focus on reliability and performance
• Optimise database queries, API response times, and pipeline throughput for production workloads
• Collaborate with the product and business teams to translate requirements into robust technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical planning
• Deploy and manage applications on Linux-based cloud infrastructure
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to engineering best practices across the team
Qualifications
• 5–7 years of professional experience in software development with a strong focus on Python
• Deep hands-on experience with FastAPI (or similar frameworks like Flask/Django REST) for building production APIs
• Strong data engineering skills — proficiency with Pandas, NumPy, and data processing pipelines
• Solid experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and modern frontend frameworks is a plus
• Strong understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and query optimisation
• Experience with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing
• Comfortable working with RESTful API design, authentication, and integration patterns
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment
• Experience with or strong understanding of Linux OS, shell scripting, and server administration
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with asynchronous programming, task queues (Celery, RQ), or event-driven architectures
• Exposure to web scraping, headless browsers, or browser automation tools
• Prior experience in a startup or early-stage engineering environment
- Familiarity with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis) and caching strategies
