Job Title
Senior Developer / Architect – Alteryx

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior developer / Architect with strong expertise in Alteryx reporting/workflow tool. The candidate will be responsible to review the existing SAS programs and re-create them using Alteryx and/or Power BI, depending on the complexity of the SAS programs. Alteryx is the preferred solution.
Key Responsibilities
- Understand the existing SAS reporting landscape.
- Provide effort estimation and timeline to re-create the SAS programs in Alteryx and/or Power BI.
- Work with the functional consultant to analyse the existing SAS programs to understand the input data, underlying transformation logic, output data.
- Do the necessary set-up to enable creation of reports in Alteryx and/or Power BI.
- Implement the SAS programs in Alteryx and/or Power BI and mentor other team members on the same.
- Explore the possibilities and identify the AI tools to simplify the entire process. Use AI tools for better efficiency.
- Prepare necessary technical documentation for the implementation.
- Support technical and business validation of the implemented reports.
- Provide training to business users to access existing reports and create their own self-service reports.
- Comply with the client specific compliance requirements.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Well versed in various aspects of Data management involving Data warehousing, Data Lake, ETL, Data Quality and Data governance.
- High level design of enterprise data-warehouse, design of data marts and Operational data stores, defining data load strategy using different ETL tools, defining reporting layers in different BI reporting tools.
- Expertise in creation of reports/workflows using Alteryx tool.
- Experience in reporting using PowerBI desktop solution.
- Strong Analytical Ability, Self-Motivation, Leadership Capability and a good Team-Player.
- Experience in Insurance domain will be an added advantage.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Experience & Education
- 7+ years of experience in data warehousing & reporting.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Alteryx reporting.
- Experience working directly with global clients.
Reporting & Collaboration
- Reports to Data Strategist, business sponsor.
- Collaborates with IT teams, business analysts and project managers
