Senior Software Developer (AI & C# / Full‑Stack) – Remote/UK Shift Hours
Location: Remote - Hybrid Employment Type: Full Time Experience Level: Mid / Senior Career Level
About the Role
We are a remote‑first logistics technology team building tools that keep global supply chains moving smoothly. As a Junior Software Developer, you will contribute to full‑stack applications and AI‑powered features that support routing, warehousing, fleet operations, and real‑time visibility. You will collaborate with a distributed team, and have the flexibility to structure your day around deep, focused work.
What You Will Do
- Develop and maintain full‑stack applications using C#/.NET and modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Support AI‑driven features such as automated quote processing, automated order processing, route optimization, demand forecasting, and anomaly detection.
- Build integrations with logistics platforms (TMS) and external APIs.
- Contribute to dashboards and tools that help remote operations teams track shipments and monitor KPIs.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and remote stand‑ups.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and engineering teams across time zones.
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- Should have experience either from Logistics industry or must have worked in companies which provides technology solutions to the logistics industry.
- MUST HAVE EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION SKILLS AS YOU WILL REPORT TO LOCAL BRITISH NATIONAL TEAM
- Strong foundation in C# and the .NET ecosystem.
- Basic experience with front‑end frameworks such as Blazor.
- Understanding of relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Exposure to AI/ML concepts (Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, or LLM APIs).
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with logistics data (GPS, telematics, warehouse systems).
- Understanding of event‑driven systems.
- Experience with remote collaboration tools such as GitLab.
- Knowledge of optimization algorithms or predictive analytics.
