Job Description: Senior Designer HVAC (Bangalore)
We are seeking a new Senior Designer HVAC to work closely with the Interior Design team and MEP Design team on design deliverables, coordinating with the PM team on design implementation as per the design intent. The Senior Designer will primarily focus on corporate and office interior projects, ensuring that designs meet both aesthetic and functional requirements while adhering to project timelines and budgets.
In Brief
- Manage and guide a team of professional Design Engineers.
- Develop design concepts from project specifications, with all technical supporting documents from initial stage to construction stage.
- Allocate and prioritize tasks for a team of Design Engineers.
- Check and evaluate design and material specifications for tender.
- Verify material data sheets and material take-off reports.
- Prepare project estimations and validate project costs.
- Assist and guide the drafting and design team to achieve project timelines.
- Document, record, and report on meetings, job progress, and construction completions from design and validation reports from Project Engineers.
- Incorporate learnings from projects and customer feedback for design excellence.
- Guide and train the team on technology upgrades and coordination at the site.
- Design, conceptualize, plan, and review.
- Motivate, train, guide, mentor, and control the team.
What We Expect
- 6+ years of experience as a Design Engineer - HVAC.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- Experience in Corporate/Office Interiors projects is required.
- Thorough understanding of Engineering Standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT application design skills.
- Knowledge of Project Management and Procurement.
- Team Leadership Skills, Conflict Resolution Skills, Team Administration Skills, and Management Skills.
- Good Communication Skills.
