Job details:
We are hiring a Senior Designer to join our design team. You will be required to
handle multiple brands, oversee the design project from end to end, starting
from conceptualization to completion, and work on monthly & seasonal design
collections as per trends.
Responsibilities:
- Create new and original designs for brands based on customer specification,
needs and brand image.
- Develop design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization.
- Overseeing the design project from the concept to delivery including the
concepts, sketches, fabrics, and trends.
- Product review for style and fit before sharing/presenting to the customer.
- Work in close coordination with the merchants and factories to get the products
developed.
- Stay up to date with the changing global trends and stay updated with the latest
insights of the market.
- Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques.
- Preparing new product presentations and sharing them further with the
customers as per the current season.
- Suppliers Visit & market survey to develop and research new designs and fabrics.
- Visiting fabric and accessories fairs to bring in new inputs.
- Finding potential vendors and factories for product development.
- Making presentations of the latest developments and sharing them on a timely basis
across the brands.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from NIFT/Pearl.
- Industrial Experience of 5-6 years with Export/Buying house.
- Proficiency with design software’s and editing tools.
- Good command over design techniques and visual elements.
- Good aesthetics sense, creative thinking, and attention to details.
- Excellent communication, time management and multitasking skills.
- Ability to storyboard or translate ideas to designers and others.
- Attention to details.
- A strong working knowledge of online and offline design, brand development and
creative process.
