Role Description The Senior Designer – Corporate Interior Projects is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. This position is responsible for leading the end-to-end design process for corporate interior projects, including concept development, space planning, material selection, and coordination of design documentation. The Senior Designer will collaborate closely with clients, internal project managers, and external consultants to translate business needs into functional, aesthetically aligned interior solutions. Daily responsibilities include preparing design presentations, reviewing drawings, guiding junior designers, conducting site visits, and ensuring design adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. The role also requires monitoring implementation on-site, resolving design-related issues, and maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in corporate interior design, including concept development, space planning, and detailed design for office and commercial environments.
- Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and familiarity with presentation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, furniture systems, lighting concepts, and building services relevant to interior projects.
- Experience coordinating with project management teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure design intent is executed accurately on-site.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior designers, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Strong client-facing communication skills, including the ability to present design concepts, gather requirements, and handle feedback constructively.
- Understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability principles applicable to interior design projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, with prior experience in corporate interiors; experience in Bengaluru or similar urban markets is an advantage.
