Role Description The Senior Design Verification Engineer will be responsible for planning, developing, and executing verification strategies for complex semiconductor IP and SoC designs. Day-to-day activities include creating verification plans, building and maintaining testbenches, writing and reviewing test cases, running simulations, and analyzing coverage to ensure design quality and compliance with specifications. The role involves close collaboration with RTL designers and architecture teams to review specifications, debug issues, and drive resolution across the full verification cycle. The engineer will also mentor junior team members, contribute to process improvements, and support integration and regression activities. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- We are looking 5+ years experienced engineers with Strong SOC experience. Interns and less experienced candidates please ignore this job position,
- Strong expertise in Functional Verification and Debugging, with experience in testbench development, simulation, and coverage-driven verification.
- Solid understanding of RTL Design and Computer Architecture, including micro-architecture, bus protocols, and timing considerations.
- Hands-on experience with Formal Verification methodologies and tools to complement simulation-based verification.
- Proficiency with industry-standard verification tools and languages (e.g., SystemVerilog, UVM, simulation and formal tools from major EDA vendors).
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in ASIC/SoC design verification, preferably in complex digital designs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in domains such as multimedia, AI/ML accelerators, or IoT SoCs is a plus.
