Designation : Senior Design Studio Engineer
Position Summary:
The Senior Design Studio Engineer serves as the technical backbone of the Design Studio, ensuring design concepts are translated into manufacturable, production-ready products while preserving design intent. This role acts as the primary interface between Design, Engineering, Manufacturing, Prototype, Quality, Sourcing, Suppliers, and Program teams.
Technical Expertise Required
- Manufacturing Processes: Injection molding, compression molding, thermoforming, vacuum forming, blow molding, rotational molding, sheet metal fabrication, stamping, tube forming, hydroforming, CNC machining, extrusion, HPDC, LPDC, gravity casting, welding, adhesives, fastening systems, composites, additive manufacturing, and rapid prototyping technologies.
- Materials: PP, ABS, PC, PC-ABS, PA6, PA66, PBT, ASA, TPE, TPU, aluminum alloys, steel grades, stainless steel, magnesium alloys, carbon fiber composites, and glass fiber composites.
- Vehicle Development: Vehicle architecture, battery packaging, chassis systems, thermal systems, electrical integration, body systems, lighting systems, ergonomics, human factors, and automotive product development processes.
- CAD & Digital Tools: CATIA, Siemens NX, Creo, Autodesk Alias, Rhino, Fusion 360, Blender, Teamcenter, and PLM environments.
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Production Engineering, or related discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in Automotive, EV, Motorcycle, or Industrial Product Development with strong exposure to prototyping, manufacturing, supplier development, and production engineering.
