Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Design Engineer based in Mawal. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality orthopedic implants and instruments, ensuring compliance with international standards. Key responsibilities include creating and reviewing technical designs, working closely with cross-functional teams, conducting research and development, and improving manufacturing processes. The role requires maintaining detailed documentation and participating in quality assurance activities to ensure product safety and reliability.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software and 3D modeling tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and material properties.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and orthopedic implant standards (ISO 13485, CE).
- Problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in the medical device industry is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with fatigue testing and regulatory compliance is a plus.
