About the Role
We are looking for a talented and highly driven Senior Design Engineer who can combine user experience, visual design, product thinking, and technology to create exceptional digital products. The ideal candidate should be capable of owning the end-to-end design lifecycle from research and ideation to prototyping and implementation while collaborating closely with product, engineering, and business teams. This role goes beyond traditional UI/UX design and requires a strong understanding of how design decisions impact product outcomes, user behaviour, and business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Product & Experience Design
· Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile applications.
· Translate business requirements and user needs into intuitive and scalable product experiences.
· Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs, and interaction models.
· Conduct design reviews and continuously improve user journeys based on feedback and data.
Design Systems & Scalability
· Build, maintain, and evolve design systems, component libraries, and design standards.
· Ensure consistency across products, platforms, and customer touchpoints.
· Establish scalable design processes and best practices within the team.
User Research & Validation
· Conduct user research, competitor analysis, usability testing, and design validation exercises.
· Gather insights from customers and stakeholders to inform design decisions.
· Use qualitative and quantitative data to improve product usability and engagement.
Mentorship & Leadership
· Mentor junior designers and interns.
· Promote design excellence across teams.
· Drive collaboration between design, product, and engineering functions.
Required Skills
· 4–7 years of experience in UI/UX Design, Product Design, or Experience Design.
· Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work.
· Expert proficiency in Figma and modern design tools.
· Strong understanding of user-cantered design principles and interaction design.
· Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
· Knowledge of design systems, accessibility standards, and usability best practices.
· Ability to communicate design rationale effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
· Experience managing client-facing projects or cross-functional initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience working in SaaS, AI, Enterprise, FinTech, HealthTech, or Product-based companies.
· Understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and component-based frameworks.
· Experience collaborating directly with engineering teams in agile environments.
· Familiarity with AI-assisted design workflows and emerging design technologies.
