Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Senior Design Engineer role located in Hosur. The Senior Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing industrial products, utilizing advanced CAD tools, and ensuring designs meet technical specifications. Primary tasks include creating detailed engineering drawings, analyzing system requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and conducting design reviews. The role will also involve troubleshooting and optimizing existing designs to ensure enhanced performance and manufacturability.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Design Engineering, Product Design, and innovation techniques
- Strong expertise in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles
- Advanced skills in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and CAD Modeling
- Good understanding of manufacturing processes and product lifecycle management
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and improve existing designs
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-disciplinary teams
- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
- Prior experience in design engineering within a manufacturing or product development environment is preferred
- Familiarity with FEA/CAE analysis and simulation is a plus
