Job Title: Senior Delivery Manager – Analytics & Insights
Location: Gurgaon – In Office
Role: Permanent
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Delivery Manager to lead multiple analytics and insight-driven projects across business intelligence (BI), social media intelligence, and secondary research. This role will manage cross-functional teams of 20–30 members, ensure high-quality delivery, and act as a strategic partner to clients by converting data into actionable business recommendations.
The ideal candidate will work closely with client stakeholders, internal delivery teams, and leadership to plan, execute, and optimize programs that deliver clear, measurable value.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project & Stakeholder Management
· Own end-to-end delivery of multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously, from scoping and planning to final delivery and post-engagement review.
· Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for social listening, BI, and research workstreams.
· Act as the primary point of contact for clients on delivery status, issues, and escalations.
· Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks to keep projects on time and within scope.
2. Team Leadership (20–30 Members)
· Lead and manage a multi-functional team (social media listening, BI/analytics, secondary research, reporting).
· Set clear goals, priorities, and expectations for each sub-team and individual.
· Coach, mentor, and upskill team members, especially around analytics, storytelling, and client-centric thinking.
· Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
3. BI & Analytics (Qlik Sense or Similar Tools)
· Manage a BI/analytics team working on dashboards and automated reporting (Qlik Sense or similar tools such as Power BI/Tableau).
· Ensure data models, dashboards, and reports are accurate, user-friendly, and aligned with client KPIs.
· Review analytical outputs, ensure correct interpretation of data, and support the team in developing strong, insight-led narratives.
4. Secondary Research & Insights
· Oversee secondary research projects (market, category, competitor, trend analysis, etc.).
· Ensure research frameworks, sources, and methodologies are robust and credible.
· Integrate findings from social listening, BI, and secondary research into cohesive, actionable insight reports.
5. Data Analytics, Reporting & Advanced Excel
· Guide teams on data cleaning, transformation, and analysis in Excel and other analytical tools.
· Support the creation of advanced Excel models, templates, and automated reports where needed.
· Review and refine client reports and presentations to ensure they are insightful, concise, and visually clear.
6. Quality Control & Process Excellence
· Design and implement QC workflows across all workstreams to minimize errors and rework.
· Define clear roles, responsibilities, and review checkpoints to ensure error-free, on-time delivery.
· Standardize processes, documentation, and best practices for recurring projects/tasks.
· Track and improve key operational metrics such as TAT, accuracy, utilization, and client satisfaction.
7. Client Consulting & Relationship Management
· Work closely with clients to understand their business questions, objectives, and success metrics.
· Translate business problems into analytical approaches and project plans.
· Present findings, insights, and recommendations to senior client stakeholders in a structured, consultative manner.
· Identify opportunities to expand existing engagements and introduce new solutions based on client needs.
Requirements:
• 6–10 years of experience in delivery or project management within analytics, research, digital, or consulting environments.
• Proven experience managing teams of 20–30 members across multiple projects.
• Strong understanding of social media listening tools, frameworks, metrics, sentiment analysis, and campaign evaluation.
• Experience with Qlik Sense or similar BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and managing teams that build dashboards and reports.
• Strong background in secondary research including desk research, competitive intelligence, and market insights.
• Strong data analytics and advanced Excel skills.
• Prior client-facing consulting experience with the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
• Hands-on experience in QC processes, SOP creation, and delivery workflow management.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
Nice to Have:
• Familiarity with basic statistics or data science concepts.
• Experience working with global clients across multiple regions and time zones.
