Job Title: Senior Commodity Dealer (MCX Execution)
Location: Mumbai
Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Commodity Dealer with strong hands-on experience in executing trades on MCX. The role is
execution-focused and requires high accuracy, deep market understanding, and the ability to manage client orders
efficiently in a fast-paced trading environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute client trades in commodities (primarily gold and silver) directly on the MCX trading system
- Ensure accurate and error-free trade execution with quick turnaround time
- Monitor live market movements and manage active client positions
- Maintain close coordination with clients for order execution and updates
- Track P&L, margins, and exposures on a real-time basis
- Ensure adherence to exchange regulations and internal compliance guidelines
- Maintain proper records of trades and execution details
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth trade settlement and issue resolution
Candidate Profile
- 5+ years of experience as a commodity dealer / senior dealer
- Strong hands-on experience in manual trade execution on MCX
- Proven track record of executing trades with high accuracy and minimal errors
- In-depth understanding of MCX contract specifications, including:
- Delivery processes
- Expiry timelines
- Lot sizes (especially for gold and silver)
- Experience in retail broking / commodity broking firms preferred
Key Skills
- Proficiency in MCX trading platforms (NOW) and tools like Trading View
- Strong working knowledge of Excel for P&L tracking and analysis
- Ability to interpret real-time market data effectively
Additional Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and execution discipline
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment
- Team handling experience is a plus, but individual trading expertise is the priority
