Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Senior Dealer role based in Kottayam. The Senior Dealer will execute equity, derivatives, and commodity trades on behalf of clients, ensuring timely and accurate order placement in line with regulatory and internal guidelines. The role involves monitoring market movements, advising clients on trading opportunities within approved policies, and managing client positions and risk exposure during market hours. The Senior Dealer will coordinate closely with the branch team to enhance client onboarding, retention, and trading volumes, while maintaining high standards of customer service. Daily responsibilities also include trade confirmations, resolution of execution-related queries, compliance with SEBI and exchange regulations, and effective use of trading platforms and risk management tools.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of equity, derivatives, and commodity markets, including trading mechanisms, products, and risk management practices.
- Hands-on experience with trading terminals, order management systems, and exchange platforms (NSE, BSE, MCX, NCDEX).
- Sound understanding of SEBI, exchange, and regulatory guidelines related to broking, client dealing, and trade execution.
- Proficiency in market analysis, interpreting research reports, and using data to support trading decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage client relationships and handle high-pressure market situations.
- Ability to work with accuracy and speed during market hours, with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., NISM series for dealers) are preferred.
- Prior experience in a dealer or senior dealer role within a broking or financial services environment is highly desirable.
- Comfort with MS Excel and other analytical tools for monitoring positions, margins, and client portfolios.
- Commitment to ethical practices, regulatory compliance, and maintaining client confidentiality.
