Job Title: Senior Database Administrator-Oracle Exadata

Job Description:
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Database Administrator with strong expertise in Oracle Exadata environments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in Exadata administration, patching, Linux system management, Oracle database support, and performance tuning within enterprise environments.
The role involves ensuring high availability, performance, security, and operational stability of Exadata infrastructure and associated database systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform daily health checks and ensure availability and performance of Exadata systems
Install, configure, maintain, and support Oracle Exadata environments
Manage and maintain Exadata patching activities
Ensure backup and recovery processes are implemented and validated
Perform database and infrastructure performance tuning activities
Monitor and manage Exadata security and privileged access controls
Enforce operational standards and best practices across Exadata environments
Provide operational input for architecture, engineering, and infrastructure design discussions
Support troubleshooting and issue resolution across database and infrastructure layers
Maintain operational documentation and system configurations
Required Skills
Oracle Exadata Administration
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata
Experience with Exadata X8-M environments preferred
Exadata installation, configuration, and maintenance
Exadata patching and upgrade management
Performance tuning and system optimization
Linux Administration
Linux system administration
Shell scripting
Memory management
Networking concepts
Performance monitoring and tuning
Oracle Database
Oracle database administration and support
Backup and recovery management
Database performance troubleshooting
Infrastructure Knowledge
Experience with PCA X8 Machine
Understanding of enterprise infrastructure environments
Good to Have
Hardware replacement experience
Ansible automation knowledge
