Role Overview
As a Manager – Data Scientist, you'll apply advanced analytics, machine learning, and statistical modeling to generate actionable insights and solve complex business problems. This role supports initiatives like demand forecasting, classification, and workforce analytics for a multinational powerhouse in consumer goods. You'll handle end-to-end ML pipelines, GenAI integration, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize operations and enhance experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Development & Statistical Analysis: Design, develop, and optimize ML, deep learning, and statistical models for business problems.
- GenAI & LLM Integration: Implement AI/ML into GenAI/agentic apps using LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI APIs, RAG pipelines, and vector databases.
- End-to-End ML Pipelines: Build scalable pipelines from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
- Production Deployment & MLOps: Deploy models via Docker, Kubernetes, FastAPI, and cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML) with CI/CD.
- Performance Monitoring: Track model drift, set alerts, ensure reliability, compliance, and governance.
- Analytics Integration: Embed models into real-time dashboards for business/HR stakeholders.
- Governance & Compliance: Apply XAI, security, audit logging, and ethical standards.
- Knowledge Sharing: Lead training, workshops, and discussions on AI/ML best practices.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex results into actionable recommendations.
- Documentation: Create reproducible workflows, reports, and enablement materials.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data scientists, engineers, and product teams.
- Independent Contribution: Handle data cleaning, EDA, feature engineering, and baseline models.
- Stakeholder Alignment: Present findings and insights to non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field.
- 8 - 11 years of hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, or AI projects.
- Certification in GenAI, Databricks, or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Expertise in data preprocessing, EDA, and feature engineering for ML/AI.
- Knowledge of ML/DL/NLP for classification, regression, clustering, and predictive modeling.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and visualization tools.
- Experience integrating models into dashboards and prototype AI apps.
- Familiarity with MLOps, model monitoring, CI/CD, and cloud deployment.
- Strong ability to translate business problems into data solutions and communicate effectively.
