How You’ll Help Us Keep Climbing
Join Delta’s
Product Operations and Analytics team as we transform customer and employee experiences through smarter data and automation. This role focuses on
reporting, data transformation, and performance evaluation, while introducing you to
data science foundations such as statistical analysis, feature evaluation, and cloud-based workflows.
As a
Data Science & Analytics Specialist, you’ll support the design of dashboards, optimize reporting processes, and apply basic statistical techniques to measure product performance. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and gain exposure to advanced analytics practices, making this an ideal role for those looking to grow toward data science.
What You’ll Do
- Data Preparation: Clean and organize structured datasets for reporting and analysis.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Build and maintain dashboards that track adoption, reliability, and customer experience metrics.
- Performance Evaluation: Apply basic statistical methods to assess product impact and identify improvement opportunities.
- SQL-Based Reporting: Use SQL to extract and transform data for operational insights.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with product managers and operations teams to ensure reporting aligns with business priorities.
- Learn & Grow: Stay current with analytics tools and foundational data science concepts; apply new techniques where appropriate.

- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in analysis, reporting, or business intelligence.
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications
What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)
- Exposure to Python for data manipulation.
- Understanding of basic data science concepts (e.g., feature analysis, evaluation metrics).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
- Masters of Data Science or Advanced Analytics a plus
