The Senior Data Engineer will support a high-visibility, large-scale initiative to create a GxP end-to-end data solution. This role involves automating, transforming, and delivering lab data from source systems to key reporting outputs. The candidate will design, build, and operate enterprise-grade data warehouses on AWS, ensuring scalable and reliable reporting for self-service analytics platforms like Spotfire and Tableau.
The candidate will collaborate closely with regulatory operations, QC, and analytical development teams to ensure high-quality, compliant data solutions

Your tasks
- Designing, building, and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines feeding Redshift using SQL, Python, and PySpark
- Maintaining Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Products
- Automating monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure data integrity
- Developing dimensional and columnar data models optimized for analytics
- Building secure data marts, tables, and products for BI reporting and metrics
- Tuning SQL, managing partitioning, and optimizing Redshift cluster performance
- Profiling, testing, and validating data to resolve quality issues at the root cause
- Leading technical discussions on data strategy, security, and performance engineering
Requirements
- At least 10 years of ETL/ELT development experience using Glue, Informatica, DBT, Talend, or Databricks
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Lake, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, and Data Architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud (Redshift, S3, Glue, Lambda, IAM)
- Proficiency in SQL (Redshift, Postgres), Python, and PySpark
- Excellent data modelling skills, including star schema, snowflake, data vault, and dimensional modelling
- Experience with GitHub for version control, code migration, and deployment
- 3–4 years of Agile Scrum experience in GxP-regulated environments
- Strong understanding of data quality, data integrity (ALCOA+), and validation documentation (URS, FS, DS, IQ/OQ/PQ)
- Fluent English required
