Research and Advisory Services domain. Our teams work closely with enterprise clients to deliver deep insights, analytics, and strategic recommendations. We are currently building a
greenfield enterprise data platform to support business intelligence, research analytics, and scalable reporting across the organization.
Role Overview
We are looking for a
Senior Data Engineer (8–10 years) to play a key role in building a modern
Snowflake-based enterprise data platform from the ground up.
This Is a Hands-on, Ownership-driven Role Focused On
- Building scalable data ingestion frameworks
- Designing Snowflake ELT pipelines
- Developing analytics-ready data models
- Ensuring reliability, governance, and cost efficiency of the platform
The ideal candidate will have strong experience integrating
enterprise SaaS platforms via APIs, managing production-grade pipelines, and implementing best practices in cloud data engineering.
Key Responsibilities - SaaS Data Ingestion & Integration (Primary Focus)
- Design, build, and maintain ingestion pipelines from enterprise SaaS systems such as:
- Salesforce (CRM)
- NetSuite (Finance)
- Marketo, 6sense, Gong (Marketing/RevOps)
- SharePoint (files, metadata, permissions)
- Build API-based ingestion frameworks handling:
- Authentication & authorization
- Pagination, retries, rate limits
- Incremental loads, soft deletes, and historical tracking
- Schema evolution and upstream source changes
- Snowflake Data Engineering & Transformation
- Build scalable ELT pipelines in Snowflake
- Write optimized SQL for complex transformations
- Build and manage raw, staging, and curated datasets
- Optimize warehouse sizing, performance, and storage with cost control focus
- Data Modeling & Analytics Enablement
- Design and maintain analytical data models:
- Fact and dimension tables
- Star and snowflake schemas
- Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1 and Type 2)
- Enable reporting and dashboard-ready datasets
- Work with business stakeholders to deliver clean and well-documented datasets
- Platform Ownership, Reliability & Governance
- Own pipeline scheduling, monitoring, alerting, and recovery
- Implement data quality checks (accuracy, completeness, freshness)
- Support Snowflake platform foundations:
- Dev/Test/Prod strategy
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Secure handling of sensitive HR and finance data (PII)
- Troubleshoot ingestion, transformation, and consumption issues
- Collaboration & Best Practices
- Partner with analytics, research, and product teams for requirement translation
- Contribute to platform architecture discussions and improvements
- Maintain documentation for pipelines and models
- Follow engineering best practices: Git, CI/CD, version control
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field
- 6–10 years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong expertise in Snowflake (pipelines, transformations, optimization)
- Strong experience in SaaS integrations using APIs (CRM/Marketing/Finance platforms)
- Advanced SQL and strong knowledge of relational databases
- Strong Python skills for ingestion and automation
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred, AWS/GCP acceptable)
- Experience with orchestration tools such as dbt, Azure Data Factory, or similar
