Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Data Engineer based in Hyderabad, with flexibility for remote work. The Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and manage data pipelines and systems to support business operations and insights. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining data models, executing ETL processes, overseeing data integration into warehousing systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive data analytics. The role also involves ensuring data quality, accuracy, and security across all systems.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience preferably in finance domain
- Proficiency in Data Engineering, including data pipeline development and management
- Strong expertise in Data Modeling and database architecture
- Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and solutions
- Proficiency in technical subjects such as Python, SQL, Snowflake, MySQL, airflow, docker or others relevant to data processing
- Excellent problem-solving skills and collaboration abilities
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake preferred)
- Relevant certifications in cloud platforms are a bonus
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
