Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team in Pune on a full-time, on-site basis. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines, data warehouses, and ETL processes. This role will require collaboration with cross-functional teams to build scalable data solutions that support analytics, reporting, and data-driven insights. Additional responsibilities include ensuring data integrity, implementing best practices for data modeling, and engaging in continuous process improvement to enhance system performance.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Data Engineering, including designing and managing data pipelines and ensuring data quality.
- Proficiency in Data Modeling and establishing schemas to optimize data storage and retrieval.
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
- Knowledge of Data Warehousing concepts and working with modern data warehousing tools.
- Strong skills in Data Analytics to derive actionable insights and support decision-making processes.
- Proficient in SQL and programming languages such as Python or Scala.
- Understanding of cloud data technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and distributed computing frameworks such as Hadoop or Spark.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
