Role Description
Tree House Technologies is seeking a Senior Data Engineer for a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru South. The Senior Data Engineer will design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and architecture to support data-driven decision-making. Daily tasks include building scalable data solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, maintaining data integrity and security, and identifying opportunities to improve data processes and models through innovation and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
- Hands-on experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and database design
- Expertise in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and workflow orchestration
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure for data engineering solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with performance optimization
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in leading data engineering projects is a plus
