Job Summary:
We are looking for a hands-on AWS PySpark Databricks Technical Lead / Architect to work on large-scale data engineering projects. This role requires strong technical expertise and active involvement in design, development, and problem-solving—not people management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop data engineering solutions using AWS, PySpark, and Databricks
- Provide hands-on support to developers, including debugging and code reviews
- Work on complex data pipelines and ETL processes
- Act as a technical escalation point for the team
- Ensure performance, scalability, and code quality
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to deliver solutions
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of experience in data engineering
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, PySpark, and Databricks
- Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and big data processing
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Experience in a technical lead or architect role
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
Good to Have:
- Experience in life sciences / pharma domain
- Experience working in enterprise or offshore models
