Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Data Engineer based in Bengaluru South. The Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. Their day-to-day tasks include processing and analyzing large data sets, implementing and optimizing data storage solutions, ensuring data quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making. This role demands staying updated with the latest trends in big data and analytics technologies.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Data Engineering concepts including ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and management
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
- Understanding of data analytics concepts and the ability to collaborate with data science teams
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in leading data-driven projects or managing a team is a plus
