Job details:
2–4 years in data engineering / analytics engineering, with at least one role involving production SQL + BI tooling.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We're looking for a Data Engineer II to build and scale data pipelines and reporting infrastructure that power decision-making across the business. You'll work closely with Snowflake-based data warehouses, craft high-impact dashboards, and increasingly leverage AI tools to accelerate development and analysis. This role suits someone who thinks in systems, writes clean SQL, and treats AI copilots as a core part of the workflow — not an afterthought.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:-
- Design, build, and maintain SQL-based data pipelines and certified views for business reporting. Build and maintain Tableau dashboards for stakeholders across sales, risk, and leadership.
- Partner with business/CXO stakeholders to translate ambiguous asks into clear data requirements.
- Debug complex data issues (join logic, type mismatches, stale sources) with strong root-cause rigor Use AI tools (Claude, Copilot, etc.) actively to speed up query writing, debugging, and documentation.
- Maintain data quality standards — flag unreliable sources, document known limitations.
- Contribute to a growing knowledge base of certified views and reporting standards
MUST-HAVE SKILLS:-
- SQL: Advanced — complex joins, window functions, CTEs, query optimization, debugging production queries
- Tableau: Strong hands-on dashboarding — calculated fields, LOD expressions, performance tuning Logical reasoning & problem-solving: Able to trace a wrong number back to a root cause (bad join, wrong grain, stale table) methodically
- AI-first mindset: Comfortable using LLMs/AI coding assistants daily to write, debug, and validate code faster
- Communication: Can explain technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely
GOOD TO HAVE:-
Fintech / Lending Domain, Snowflake, Python, Make.com / n8n, Loan Lifecycle & AUM Concepts
