Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Data Analyst with 5 to 8 years experience in US healthcare systems to support dashboard-driven analytics across outpatient and inpatient clinical environments. The role involves exploring EHR databases, identifying relevant data elements, defining metrics, and ensuring dashboards are backed by reliable EHR integrations, API mappings, and data pipelines, using Python, SQL, and statistical analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Explore and analyze EHR databases to understand available clinical and operational data
• Identify and document required data elements needed to power dashboard metrics
• Define, validate, and maintain dashboard metrics based on clinical and business requirements
• Develop and maintain dashboard analytics for US healthcare data
• Analyze data from EHR and clinical systems (outpatient and inpatient)
• Perform data mapping and validation for API-based integrations
• Support and validate data ingestion pipelines feeding dashboards
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for dashboard metrics and QA
• Use Python for data processing, automation, and anomaly detection
• Identify data quality issues and anomalies impacting dashboards
• Apply statistical analysis to validate trends and patterns in dashboard metrics
• Reconcile dashboard outputs with source EHR data
• Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve data and pipeline issues
• Ensure dashboard metrics are accurate, consistent, and well-documented

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis or senior analytics roles
• Mandatory experience with US healthcare data and systems
• Hands-on experience working with EHR databases and data models
• Experience exploring EHR data to derive dashboard-ready metrics
• Experience with EHR systems such as Cerner (Oracle Health), Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks (eCW), Allscripts , NextGen, MEDITECH, Practice Fusion, Greenway Health, Elation or similar platforms
• Understanding of outpatient and inpatient clinical workflows
• Experience with dashboard analytics and metric validation
• Hands-on experience with API mapping and system integrations
• Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, optimization)
• Strong Python skills for analysis, validation, and automation
• Experience maintaining or supporting data pipelines
• Solid understanding of statistics and anomaly detection techniques
• Experience with cloud data platforms (GCP preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating clinical workflows into measurable dashboard KPIs
• Familiarity with healthcare data normalization and metric definitions
• Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
