Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Data Engineer to design and build scalable data platforms supporting engineering analytics and AI-driven insights. The role involves creating robust data pipelines, optimizing data models, and ensuring high-quality, analytics-ready datasets for business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable data pipelines for engineering and AI-related telemetry
- Build and maintain robust data models in Azure SQL for analytics consumption
- Develop data ingestion, transformation, and validation processes across:
- Batch workflows
- Near real-time data pipelines
- Define and maintain metric-ready datasets and data contracts for BI and analytics teams
- Ensure data reliability and quality through validation, monitoring, and testing frameworks
- Drive observability and production readiness, including:
- Monitoring
- Logging
- CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions
Required Skills & Experience - 7+ years of experience in Data Engineering
- Strong expertise in Azure SQL
- Advanced proficiency in:
- SQL (complex queries, optimization)
- Data warehousing concepts
- Pipeline orchestration tools
- Strong understanding of:
- Dimensional modeling
- Analytics data design
- Experience implementing:
- Data quality frameworks
- Data lineage
- Operational monitoring systems
- Ability to work with senior stakeholders and business teams
Preferred Skills - Experience with Microsoft Fabric, including:
- Data Factory
- Lakehouse
- Warehouse
- OneLake
- Exposure to engineering systems data, such as:
- Azure DevOps
- GitHub
- CI/CD pipelines
- Incident management data
