Job Title: Data Analyst (BFSI Domain)
Location: Chennai / Bangalore

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a strong background in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domain. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in data processing, analytics, and visualization, along with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights. This role requires strong technical skills combined with a deep understanding of financial data and business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Databricks for data processing and transformation.
- Perform data analysis using Python and SQL to extract meaningful insights and support business decision-making.
- Work with Alteryx Designer for data preparation, blending, and workflow automation.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Advanced Excel.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver analytical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all datasets.
- Participate in SDLC processes and follow Agile methodologies for project delivery.
- Document data models, processes, and workflows for knowledge sharing and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 6–8 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in the BFSI domain.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
- Proficiency in Python (data analysis, scripting, automation).
- Advanced knowledge of SQL (query optimization, complex joins, data modeling).
- Experience with Alteryx Designer is mandatory.
- Expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Advanced Excel.
- Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile frameworks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with large-scale financial datasets.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
- Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in BFSI.
