Role Description The Senior Data Analyst role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. This role is responsible for collecting, cleaning, and validating data from multiple internal and external sources to support business decisions. The Senior Data Analyst will build and maintain dashboards and reports, perform advanced data modeling and statistical analysis, and generate actionable insights for leadership and cross-functional teams. The role includes collaborating with product, sales, operations, and finance stakeholders to understand business challenges, recommend data-informed solutions, and monitor key performance indicators. The Senior Data Analyst will also help improve data governance practices, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of analytics tools and processes.
Qualifications
- Strong Analytical Skills and Data Analytics expertise to interpret complex datasets and translate findings into business insights.
- Solid foundation in Statistics and Data Modeling to design robust analytical approaches and predictive models.
- Clear and effective Communication skills to present data-driven recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency with data tools such as SQL, Excel, and at least one BI or visualization platform (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
- Experience working with large, varied data sources in a business or consumer-products environment.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Experience mentoring or leading junior analysts and contributing to the development of analytics standards and best practices.
