Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Regulatory Reporting Data Analyst to join our Enterprise Data Lake team. The role focuses on end-to-end regulatory data management, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant reporting for RBI and other statutory requirements. The ideal candidate will collaborate across compliance, finance, and technology teams to deliver high-quality regulatory data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data sourcing, transformation, and delivery for regulatory reports such as CRILC, CCR, LRS, Basel II/III, ADF, R-Return, and BSR.
- Translate regulatory requirements into data specifications in collaboration with compliance and finance teams.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness across Data Lake and enterprise systems.
- Develop and maintain data validation, reconciliation, and exception management frameworks.
- Drive data quality and governance initiatives to strengthen regulatory reporting processes.
- Support regulatory audits, inspections, and internal reviews.
- Mentor junior analysts and establish best practices in regulatory data management.
- Proactively manage and deliver data-related projects in a dynamic regulatory environment.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–12 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on regulatory reporting in banking
- Deep understanding of RBI regulations and reporting frameworks.
- Proficient in SQL, and familiar with big data technologies is a plus (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, etc.).
- Experience with data lake/warehouse environments and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of banking products, General Ledger (GL), and core banking systems.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
