Job SummaryWe are looking for a Senior Data Analyst with strong expertise in SQL, BigQuery, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build scalable data solutions, streamline reporting processes, and deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate multiple data sources and enable data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using GCP
- Manage and optimize data storage and querying using BigQuery
- Integrate data from multiple sources such as MySQL, CRM systems, and APIs into BigQuery
- Utilize GCP services like Datastream and BigQuery Data Transfer Service for seamless data ingestion
- Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Looker Studio or similar visualization tools
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
- Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across reporting systems
- Implement and manage concepts like Row-Level Security (RLS) for secure data access
- Work with Change Data Capture (CDC) mechanisms for real-time or incremental data updates
- Perform efficient data transformation to support analytics and reporting needs
- Automate data workflows and reporting processes to improve efficiency
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and provide analytical insights
Required Skills- Strong hands-on experience in SQL and data analysis
- Proven experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based analytics
- Exposure to Row-Level Security (RLS), Change Data Capture (CDC), and data transformation techniques
- Experience with Looker Studio or any other data visualization tools
- Working knowledge of MySQL or similar relational databases
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline architecture
Preferred Skills- Experience with API integrations and data automation
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python
- Experience handling large-scale datasets
- Familiarity with performance optimization and query tuning
Education- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
