Job details:
Study Now Ltd is looking for a team of developers to take full ownership of our internal platform, Global Students Pathway (GSP) — a workflow-driven system supporting student lifecycle management, admissions operations, and partner collaboration.
You’ll be taking the platform over from our external development team, becoming the primary
technical person responsible for its stability, improvement, and evolution. You’ll work alongside one
junior developer initially, with the expectation of growing and shaping a small engineering team as the
platform and business scale.
We are looking for the below:
- 1 Teach Lead
- Full stack Developers
Salary: £1,800 - 2,000 Monthly
Monday - Friday
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Platform Ownership
• Take over the GSP codebase, understand its architecture thoroughly, and own it end-to-end.
• Keep the platform stable, well-documented, and continuously improving.
• Manage deployment pipelines and production environments across our cloud infrastructure.
CRM & Workflow Development
• Build and extend CRM logic and workflows — stage-based progressions, permission
structures, and role-driven features.
• Translate operational requirements into clean, practical technical solutions.
Automation
• Design and implement automation that removes manual workload from student lifecycle,
admissions, and compliance processes.
• Build conditional triggers, rule-based logic, and system-driven decisions that improve
efficiency and accuracy.
AI Integration
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities into the platform in practical, results-driven ways —
document assistance, smart routing, lead prioritisation, or conversational support features.
• You should have real, hands-on experience working with AI APIs and be genuinely motivated
to keep pushing this forward.
Cloud & Infrastructure
• Manage and maintain our cloud infrastructure across Linode and AWS — deployments,
environments, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure CI/CD pipelines are running smoothly and production stays stable.
Feature Development
• Design and deliver new platform features in collaboration with operations and product
leadership.
• Maintain data integrity and ensure smooth, backward-compatible rollouts.
Team Development
• Guide and support one junior developer now.
• As the platform grows, take on a broader role in hiring, mentoring, and shaping a small
engineering team over time.
What We’re Looking For
• 5+ years of full-stack or backend-focused development experience.
• Hands-on experience building or extending CRM-style or workflow-driven applications.
• Solid understanding of automation logic — triggers, rules, conditional flows.
• Practical experience integrating AI APIs or tools (e.g. OpenAI, LLM APIs, AI-powered
automation) — you’ve built something real with AI.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure on Linode and/or AWS.
• Comfortable with CI/CD pipelines and production deployments.
• Strong with APIs, databases, and backend architecture.
• Comfortable inheriting and owning an existing codebase.
• Good communicator who can work directly with non-technical stakeholders.
• Awareness of secure coding practices and data protection standards — particularly around
handling personal and student data.
Nice to Have
• Exposure to EdTech or student management systems.
• Familiarity with analytics or reporting features.
What We Offer
• Full technical ownership of a live, growing platform.
• Real influence over product direction and technical decisions.
• A clear path to building and leading your own engineering team.
• Close collaboration with operations and leadership.
• Competitive compensation and genuine growth opportunity.
