Role Overview
As the Sr. Manager of Design & Content, you are the custodian of the festival’s soul. You will translate the festival's mission into a cohesive visual and narrative language that lives across digital screens and physical event grounds. Your goal is to build an "unmissable" brand that resonates emotionally with families.
Key Responsibilities
1. Own the Creative Voice
- Define and evolve Kukdukoo’s family-first identity
- Ensure consistency across:
- Social media platforms
- Content strategy
- Video production
- Ad creatives for online, print and outdoor media
- Event branding
2. Bring the Fest Alive
- Conceptualize static and video campaigns that excite kids & parents
- Translate on-ground magic into digital storytelling
- Create work that drives: “We can’t miss this”
- Think beyond static—focus on experiential ideas
3. Lead and Manage the Creative Team
- Manage: Graphic Designer, Video Editors, Cinematographers, Social Media Manager
- Set direction, timelines, and quality benchmarks
- Build a culture of ownership, creativity, and accountability
- Ensure output is emotionally engaging, not just aesthetic
4. On-Ground Experience
- Oversee festival branding end-to-end
- Ensure every touchpoint feels:
- Thoughtful
- Safe
- Magical
- Work with production to bring ideas to life physically
5. Brand & Partnerships
- Guide and assist in partner integrations that feel seamless and not-forced
- Support PR with strong visual storytelling
- Protect and elevate the Kukdukoo experience
Key Skills
- Strong in branding, storytelling, visual design and video production
- Deep understanding of social media & content trends
- Experience and flair in team leadership
- Thinks emotion-first, not just design-first
- Experience in events / hospitality/ kids & family brands etc.
