East Point Group of Institutions is seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Admission Counselor – Team Leader to join our admissions team. The ideal candidate will not only guide prospective students through the admissions process but also lead and mentor a team of counselors to ensure high-quality student engagement and admissions success.

This role requires strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage both student relationships and team performance effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of admission counselors
• Set performance targets and monitor individual and team KPIs
• Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews
• Guide the team in handling complex counseling cases and escalations
• Ensure adherence to institutional policies and admissions standards
• Collaborate with marketing and academic departments to align admission strategies
• Analyze admission trends and provide reports to management
• Counsel prospective students and parents on college and university programs, majors, and admission requirements
• Actively listen to student needs and guide them toward suitable academic options
• Maintain accurate student records and follow-ups in a timely manner
• Ensure a smooth and positive admissions experience for all applicants

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Any Graduation
• 3 to 5 years of experience in college admissions, with prior team handling experience preferred
• Strong understanding of college/university programs, majors, and admissions processes
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong active listening and people-reading abilities
• Good planning, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Ability to work under targets and manage multiple student interactions
• Willingness to mentor, guide, and support students and team members
