Job Description
Leap GeeBee Education is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Counsellor/Counsellor to support overseas education operations. The role involves to counsel students for overseas education admissions.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students on overseas education opportunities and help them shape their academic and career pathways.
- Guide sub-agents and branch teams on suitable study options based on student profiles.
- Respond promptly and professionally to student queries via calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
- Stay updated on admission processes, requirements, and entrance examinations of overseas universities.
- Support sub-agents and branches with university application processes for destinations including USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Switzerland, and others.
- Coordinate with branches and associates for pending documentation and fee payments.
- Resolve queries from branches and associates efficiently through calls and emails.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with branches, associates, and stakeholders.
- Work towards assigned targets and contribute to revenue growth through admissions and conversions.
- Ensure adherence to internal processes, systems, and compliance standards.
- Take initiative to create a professional, deadline-driven work environment with a strong focus on student and partner experience.
- Actively participate in education fairs, university visits, and in-house seminars organized by the company.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in overseas education counselling (Senior
- Counsellor roles may require additional experience).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong understanding of the Indian and overseas education systems.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM systems.
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and strong team collaboration skills.
- Awareness of global current affairs is an added advantage.
