Role Description
The Senior Counsellor role at LearningShala is a full-time, on-site position located in New Delhi. The role involves providing guidance to students regarding educational programs, conducting one-on-one counselling sessions, assisting students through admissions processes, and creating personalized action plans for their academic and career paths. The Senior Counsellor is also responsible for keeping current with industry trends, collaborating with team members, and maintaining detailed records of interactions and progress.
Qualifications
- Strong counselling and communication skills to empathize with and guide students effectively.
- Expertise in academic planning, career counselling, and admissions guidance.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and managing student data efficiently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team and independently execute tasks with precision.
- Familiarity with higher education programs, especially in business, IT, healthcare, and arts, is valuable.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Career Services, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in counselling or a similar role, preferably in the education sector.
- Excellent organizational skills, time management, and attention to detail to handle multiple counselling sessions and tasks efficiently.
