About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Copywriter who lives and breathes Meta Ads. Someone who doesn't just write "good copy," but writes copy that moves numbers, lower CAC, higher CTR, better hook rates. You obsess over the first 3 seconds of a video because you know that's where ads live or die.
If you can spot a scroll-stopping hook in your sleep and think in raw, native, UGC-style creative (not polished brand-speak), we want to talk.
What You'll Do
- Write high-performing ad copy for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) across static, video, and UGC formats
- Concept raw, native-feeling ads that don't look like ads, think "friend recommending a product," not a billboard
- Own performance metrics: track CTR, CAC, hook rate, and thumb-stop ratio, then iterate based on what the data tells you
- Collaborate with media buyers and creative/video teams to turn concepts into scroll-stopping creative
- Run rapid testing cycles: multiple hooks, angles, and formats per campaign to find what wins
- Stay ahead of trends: new ad formats, meme formats, UGC styles, whatever's working right now on the platform
What You Need
- 3+ years of copywriting experience specifically for Meta Ads (not general marketing copy)
- Proven track record tied to performance metrics, you should be able to talk CAC and CTR numbers, not just "brand voice"
- A sharp eye for raw/UGC creative: you know why an iPhone-shot testimonial can outperform a $10k production
- Strong understanding of the Meta Ads ecosystem: hooks, pattern interrupts, native formats, ad fatigue cycles
- Data fluency: comfortable reading Ads Manager metrics and adjusting copy based on performance, not just gut feel
- Fast iteration mindset: you write in volume, test fast, and don't get precious about copy that doesn't work
Nice to Have
- Experience writing for DTC/e-commerce brands
- Familiarity with creative testing frameworks (e.g. hook-body-CTA breakdowns)
- Basic video/script writing for UGC-style ads
How to Apply
Send us:
- 3-5 examples of Meta ad copy you've written (bonus: include the performance data, CTR/CAC if you have it)
- A short note on one ad you saw recently that stopped your scroll, and why you think it worked
