We are looking for a Senior Content Writer / Content Lead with 4–6 years of experience in creating high-quality, research-driven, and performance-focused content across competitive industries.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in BFSI (banking, lending, insurance, investments, financial products), along with exposure to industries such as edtech, healthcare, real estate / proptech, and consumer brands.
This role requires someone who can own content from research to execution, work closely with SEO and growth teams, and create content that balances rankings, user intent, and business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Research, write, edit, and optimise high-quality content across websites, landing pages, blogs, product pages, guides, comparison pages, and SEO-focused assets
- Create content for competitive and regulated industries such as finance, banking, loans, insurance, healthcare, education, real estate, and consumer brands
- Work closely with SEO teams on keyword research, content briefs, search intent mapping, and optimisation opportunities
- Develop content strategies and content calendars based on business and organic growth goals
- Write content that balances SEO, conversion, readability, compliance, and user experience
- Review and improve content for structure, clarity, accuracy, and performance
- Manage junior writers, freelancers, or content contributors where needed
- Ensure brand consistency across content formats and channels
- Work with design, SEO, and marketing teams to create content-led growth assets
- Stay updated with content, search, AI search, and industry best practices
Client & Communication Responsibilities
- Present content strategies, audits, and recommendations to clients when needed
- Explain content performance, traffic trends, ranking opportunities, and content gaps in a clear and simple way
- Participate in client calls, review meetings, and strategy discussions
- Work directly with clients to understand business goals, products, compliance limitations, and category nuances
Tools & Platforms (Hands-on Experience Required)
- Ahrefs / Semrush (for keyword research, content gap analysis, competitor research)
- Grammarly / editorial QA tools
- ChatGPT / AI-assisted research and content workflow tools
- Basic use of project management tools (Notion, Trello, etc.)
Requirements
- 4–6 years of hands-on content writing / content strategy experience
- Strong experience in BFSI content (banking, lending, insurance, financial services, investments, financial products) is highly preferred
- Secondary experience in industries such as edtech, healthcare, real estate / proptech, or D2C is a plus
- Strong understanding of SEO content writing, search intent, keyword mapping, content optimisation, and organic growth
- Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging, and user-friendly content
- Strong research and fact-checking skills, especially for regulated or technical industries
- Experience writing commercial, informational, transactional, and conversion-driven content
- Comfortable reviewing performance data and improving content based on insights
- Strong communication and client-facing confidence
Preferred Skills
- Experience managing writers or leading content workflows
- Understanding of AI search / LLM content visibility is a bonus
- Familiarity with compliance-sensitive content categories
- Basic understanding of CRO and landing page messaging
