About The Role
As our Senior Content Writer, you will shape the written voice of our brand — producing long-form articles, brand copy, campaign narratives, email sequences, product content, and thought leadership pieces that engage, inform, and convert. You think strategically about content, write with a distinct voice, and bring editorial rigour to every project.
What You'll Do
- Craft compelling content: Write high-quality long-form and short-form content — blogs, articles, whitepapers, case studies, email campaigns, website copy, and ad copy across channels.
- Own brand voice: Define, document, and consistently apply our brand's tone of voice across all written content formats and teams.
- Drive SEO strategy: Research keywords, optimise articles for organic discovery, and collaborate with the SEO team to build topical authority and ranking content.
- Tell brand stories: Develop narratives that connect with Indian audiences — rooted in cultural context, insight, and emotion — for campaigns, launches, and brand moments.
- Edit & quality-check: Review and elevate content from junior writers, providing structured feedback that raises the team's overall quality bar.
- Collaborate cross-team: Partner with design, social, video, and product teams to ensure written content integrates seamlessly with broader creative campaigns.
What You Bring
- 5+ years in content writing — with a strong portfolio spanning editorial, brand, and digital formats
- Exceptional writing & editing skills — in English; Hindi writing ability is a strong plus
- SEO proficiency — including keyword research, on-page optimisation, and content strategy
- Brand storytelling experience — with an understanding of tone, voice, and audience segmentation
- CMS experience — WordPress, Contentful, or similar platforms
- Research skills — ability to write authoritatively on unfamiliar topics quickly
- Familiarity with Indian market — cultural nuance, regional context, and audience behaviour
- Attention to detail — zero tolerance for errors in grammar, facts, or formatting
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience writing for fintech, D2C, media, or consumer tech brands
- Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console
- Experience managing a content calendar for a digital publication
- Background in journalism or editorial media
- Understanding of email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.)
