Job Title: SAP PP Consultant
Experience: 4–8 Years
Location: Bangalore - ITPL
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP PP Consultant with 4–8 years of hands-on experience in Production Planning and Manufacturing processes. The candidate will be responsible for SAP PP configuration, implementation, support, and enhancements across end-to-end manufacturing scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and map them to SAP PP solutions.
- Configure and support SAP PP modules, including: Master Data (Material Master, BOM, Work Centers, Routings)
- Demand Management, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Capacity Planning
- Production Orders (Discrete, Repetitive, or Process Manufacturing)
- Work closely with business users to design, test, and deploy PP solutions.
- Integrate SAP PP with other SAP modules such as:
MM (Materials Management)
SD (Sales & Distribution)
QM (Quality Management)
PM (Plant Maintenance)
- Support end-to-end SAP PP lifecycle activities:
- Blueprinting adn Configuration
- Unit Testing & UAT, Cutover & Go-live support
- Resolve production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and provide timely fixes.
- Prepare functional specifications for ABAP developments (reports, enhancements, interfaces, forms).
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and system optimizations.
- Provide user training and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of strong experience in SAP PP.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing business processes.
- Hands-on configuration experience in SAP PP.
- Strong understanding of MRP concepts and production planning strategies.
- Experience working on at least one full-cycle SAP implementation.
- Ability to handle support and enhancement projects independently.
- Good understanding of SAP S/4HANA PP concepts (preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA PP.
- Exposure to MRP Live and advanced planning concepts.
- Knowledge of Fiori apps related to PP.
- Experience in industries like Manufacturing, Automotive, Pharma, FMCG, or Engineering.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or equivalent.
- SAP PP Certification is an added advantage.
