Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Design, develop, and unit test integration solutions for Guidewire Claim Center using best practices and coding standards.
Build and enhance integration points between Claim Center and external/internal applications such as policy systems, billing systems, payment gateways, and third-party services.
Develop custom integration components including messaging, batch processes, plugins, APIs, and GX models/templates.
Implement and configure G-Units to ensure maximum unit test coverage and code quality.
Troubleshoot and resolve routine and complex technical issues within integration workflows and system processes.
Enhance or modify existing Claim Center functionality based on business needs and performance improvements.
Perform code reviews, prepare technical documentation, and participate in debugging activities throughout SDLC.
Must-Have Technical Skills
Hands-on experience with Guidewire Claim Center (Configuration + Integration).
Strong Knowledge Of Guidewire Integration Patterns
Messaging System (Event-Firing, Event-Based Messaging), Work Queues, Batch Processes, Plugins, SOAP/REST APIs, GX Models & Templates
Experience With Gosu Programming (essential For Guidewire Development).
Expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB).
Strong understanding of web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON.
Experience with SQL and relational databases.
Familiarity with MQ messaging frameworks (e.g., IBM MQ).
