Role Description

The position of Senior Consultant Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgeon is a full-time, on-site role based in Lucknow at Tender Palm Super Speciality Hospital. The role involves diagnosing and treating patients with cardio-thoracic and vascular conditions. Responsibilities include performing advanced cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures, consulting with patients, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and supervising junior medical staff. The Senior Consultant will also contribute to research and development initiatives and uphold the highest standards of medical ethics and care in alignment with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Expertise in cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgery techniques and procedures.
• Proficiency in patient assessment, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning for complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular conditions.
• Strong leadership skills, with experience in mentoring and supervising junior medical staff.
• Commitment to conducting research, staying updated on medical advancements, and integrating innovative surgical methods.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient consultations and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Board certification in Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Surgery or equivalent qualification.
• Advanced knowledge of surgical equipment and familiarity with robotic and minimally invasive surgical techniques is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to work in high-pressure environments such as intensive care units and emergency departments.
• Dedication to patient-centered care with a focus on ethical medical practices and compassion.
• Prior experience in a leadership or senior consultant position in a reputed healthcare facility preferred.
