Job Description:

Design & Deployment

• Lead requirement discussions with customer
• Design Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI clusters
• Review and validate all deployment configurations
• Deploy clusters, configure S2D, SDN, and Azure Arc

Migration

• Perform workload discovery and assessment
• Create migration plans and strategies
• Migrate workloads from VMware to Azure Local
• Test and validate all migrated workloads
• Provide post‑migration hypercare

Testing & Documentation

• Perform functional and performance tests
• Document test results and validation reports
• Prepare as‑built documents, configuration details, and guides
• Deliver knowledge transfer sessions

Mandatory Technical Skills

Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI

• Cluster deployment & configuration
• Windows Server Failover Clustering
• Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)
• Software Defined Networking (SDN)
• Azure Arc and hybrid cloud integration
• Cluster lifecycle management

VMware

• VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
• VM provisioning and management
• vMotion & Storage vMotion
• HA & DRS
• Basic troubleshooting

Good to Have

• Azure Migrate, HCX, or similar migration tools
• PowerShell automation
• Basic networking (VLANs, IP planning, firewalls)
• ITIL knowledge

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and customer handling
• Ability to run workshops and technical discussions
• Good documentation skills
• Strong troubleshooting approach
