Job details:
7+ years of experience developing end to end platform integrations for enterprise solutions.
Experience with Go, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
Proficiency in object-oriented or functional programming languages (Java, Go, Python, C#, or JavaScript/Node.js).
Solid understanding of RESTful API design, implementation, and consumption
Experience with API authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT tokens)
Strong knowledge of data transformation, mapping, and ETL processes
Proven experience with testing integration solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and working with sandbox/test environments for CMDB/ITSM platforms.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar)
Understanding of software architecture patterns, particularly for integration and microservices
Strong problem-solving skills with experience debugging complex, multi-system integration issues
Strong hands-on experience with at least one of: ServiceNow (CMDB, ITSM), Atlassian Jira Service Management, or BMC Helix/Remedy.
ServiceNow development experience (Scripted REST APIs, Integration Hub, Flow Designer, Business Rules, ServiceNow Store Integration Applications)
Atlassian platform development (JSM Cloud APIs, Jira REST API, Forge apps, Connect apps, ScriptRunner)
BMC Helix/Remedy experience (AR System APIs, Mid Tier, REST API
Knowledge of CMDB/ITSM platform data models, CI/issue relationships, and data flow
Relevant CMDB platform certifications
AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, S3, DynamoDB
Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployment
Experience with message queues and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar)
SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Databricks
NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
Data modeling and schema design for integration scenario
Experience with testing frameworks appropriate to CMDB integration testing (JUnit, pytest, Jest, etc.
Test automation and continuous testing practice
Experience with mock services and test data management
Configuration Management Database (CMDB) data modeling and federation concept
IT Asset Management (ITAM) or IT Service Management (ITSM) domain knowledge
